Our pieces are crafted primarily using the ancestral filigree technique of Chordeleg and the plating technique, both worked almost entirely by hand by highly experienced artisans.
2. Is the jewelry truly handmade?
Yes. Each piece is handcrafted, honoring traditional processes passed down from generation to generation. The true luxury of María Pepita lies in the hands that create.
3. What materials do you use?
We work with high-quality materials, such as silver and fine metals, ensuring durability, strength, and excellent finishes. Gold-toned pieces feature gold plating or gold leaf.
4. Do you create custom pieces?
Yes. We design and create exclusive custom pieces, including earrings, rings, necklaces, brooches, crowns, and special accessories.
5. Are custom pieces reproduced?
We do not make copies without the express authorization of the client. We guarantee complete exclusivity in every custom design.
6. How does the custom design process work?
The client communicates directly with the designer and CEO, the design is defined, the production time is established, payment is 50% to begin and the remaining 50% upon completion of the handcrafted piece.
7. Do you create crowns for pageants?
Yes. We design and create crowns for beauty queens at the local, provincial, national, and international levels.
8. Are crowns made to order?
Yes. Crowns are exclusively made on a pre-order basis, as each design is structurally customized.
9. Do you have a physical store?
Our workshops are located in Chordeleg, Ecuador, and we have a commercial office in Cuenca. Sales are conducted primarily online.
10. Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship nationally and internationally, coordinating each delivery with responsibility and security.
11. Do the pieces come with a warranty?
Yes. All our pieces come with a one-year warranty for repairs, reaffirming our commitment to quality.
12. How should I care for my handcrafted jewelry?

Yes. María Pepita is officially registered with SENADI, is also a member of the Cuenca Chamber of Commerce, and holds the MUCHO MEJOR ECUADOR quality certification.
